Introduction of Warp Knitting Machine
Warp knitting machine uses one or several groups of yarns arranged in parallel on all working needles of the warp fed machine to form knitted fabrics at the same time. This method is called warp knitting and fabrics are called warp knitted fabrics.The machine that completes this warp knitting is called a warp knitting machine.
Since warp knitting requires that the number of separate strands of yarn, or ends, equals the number of stitches in a row, warp knitting is almost always done by machine rather than by hand.
The warp knitting machine is mainly composed of weaving mechanism, comb bar traverse mechanism, let off mechanism, pulling and coiling mechanism and transmission mechanism.
① The knitting mechanism includes needle bed, comb bar, sinker bed and pressing plate, which are generally driven by cam or eccentric connecting rod. Cam is often used in warp knitting machines with low speed and complex motion law of looping parts. Eccentric connecting rod is widely used in high-speed warp knitting machine because of its stable transmission, simple processing, low wear and noise during high-speed operation.
② The comb bar traverse mechanism makes the comb bar traverse according to the requirements of knitted fabric organization in the process of forming a circle, and pads the warp on the needle, so as to weave a knitted fabric with a certain organizational structure. There are usually two types: flower plate type and cam type. The pattern plate mechanism is connected into a pattern plate chain through the pattern plates with a certain shape and size according to the requirements of knitted fabric organization, so that the comb bar moves horizontally. It is suitable for the organization with complex woven patterns, and the pattern transformation is more convenient. In the cam mechanism, the cam is designed according to the transverse movement law of comb bar required by knitted fabric organization. The transmission is more stable and can adapt to higher knitting speed.
③ The let off mechanism releases the warp yarn on the warp shaft and sends it into the weaving area. There are two types: negative and positive. In the negative mechanism, the warp shaft is pulled by the warp tension to send out the warp, which does not need a special warp shaft transmission device. It is suitable for warp knitting machines with low machine speed and complex let off law. The positive let off mechanism adopts a special transmission device to rotate the warp shaft to send out the warp, which is different from tension induction and linear speed induction. The tension sensing mechanism controls the speed of the warp shaft by sensing the warp tension through the tension rod. The linear speed sensing mechanism controls the speed of the warp shaft by sensing the warp motion speed through the speed measuring device. This kind of mechanism sends out the warp at a predetermined linear speed and can work stably under the condition of high-speed operation. Therefore, it is widely used in high-speed warp knitting machines.
④ The function of the pulling and winding mechanism is to pull the fabric out of the weaving area at a predetermined speed and wind it into a cloth roll.
